MSM misses scoop in Libby trial
I found this on Wonkette the day the verdict was read in the I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby trial was announced, and it's one of the more entertaining things I found on the Internets surrounding the trial.Evidently, Libby's Wikipedia entry was vandalized so much the day the verdict came down that the site had to disable the editing feature. It's an obvious and humorous example as to why Wikipedia has zero credibility from an academic standpoint. I do link to the site often on CMB, but just for general information purposes. Like I tell all of my students - Wikipedia is never acceptable as a primary source, but it can be effective at giving general background. I also like the fact that at the bottom of Wikipedia's entries, there are links to other (often times more credible) sources.
Anyway, I got a kick out of Libby's possible new roommate.
