The troop surge's surge's surge

Terrific - more great news from the Pentagon. I wonder what/if Congress is going to do about President Bush's 21,000 30,000 42,000 troop surge.

Yesterday, the Pentagon announced that 12,000 more troops from the National Guard are being sent to Iraq, stretching our already depleted military even further. Amazing. Anyone who thinks that the Pentagon didn't know this months ago is nuts. It's hard to not take a cynical view after all of the lies we've been told since before this war even began.

Now the question is, what's Congress going to do about this latest announcement?
