PENNDOT advertising live nudes?
I really got a kick out of this one this morning when I heard it on the radio (I only wish I had taken the picture above, which is from the Reading Eagle Website, the local newspaper in Berks County, Pennsylvania, where I work.) Evidently, someone tampered with a PENNDOT traffic sign over the weekend, making it say the message above, advertising "live nudes" off of exit 45 of I-78 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Sometimes, computer hackers really do funny things - and this is definitely one of them.
You can read more about the story Here, but I don't know how long the Reading Eagle keeps stories up - you may have to set up an account to access archived articles.
If I had the knowhow to hack into one of these signs, I probably would have done a political message - "W: War Criminal" would have looked pretty good on the sign. But hey, I'm not all political, all the time - I love pranks like these. The sophomoric humor in me will never die; probably one of the chief reasons I probably will never be a candidate for political office. Imagine THAT headline: "Candidate Corby supports live nudes!"
There goes my political career.
(I'm now even wondering if Blogger will classify Count Me Blue as a porn blog. Whatever - I'll risk it.)
