A Doonesbury doozy

I don't know why, because it's so political, but I've never been a reader of Doonesbury. Perhaps I should start. Garry Trudeau is one-of-a-kind. His strip from this past Saturday has gotten lots of press. (See below) The only thing I remember about the strip is that in the 1980s, Trudeau used an asterisk to signify Vice President George H.W. Bush. Ouch.
