Mark Fiore's Politishop 8.0 - his best yet

[Click the image to go to the animation]

I say This one is his best one yet often about Mark Fiore's work, but I can't help myself - he keeps getting better and better. His latest political animation, Politishop 8.0, is amazingly witty. This guy has mastered the art of saying a lot in very little time, with plenty of wit and political insight packaged as a political haymaker.

Politishop 8.0 takes on the widely circulated picture of last week's Iranian missile launch, which, after analysis by some experts, was revealed to have been doctored. Fiore goes on to describe other valuable uses for Politishop 8.0 for political purposes. I love it.

Visit his Website often to support him - you can sign up for e-mail updates for reminders when his new videos are released. Best of all, the site's free. As of late, he's been pretty prolific, so check back often. I'll continue bringing you the ones I like, which will no doubt be many.

Mark Fiore's movie on a "change" candidate

[Click the image to go to the animation]

Mark Fiore, who is nothing less than a political animation genius, has put together an ironic video about a true "change" candidate by asking some pretty interesting What if? questions. This one isn't his absolute best, but it's right up there. Bonus: it will probably anger just about any conservative who sees it.

It will never, ever cease to amaze me that some how, some way, the right has cornered the market, in many people's eyes, the "family values" issue. Clearly the Republican Party platform cares little for the least among us. Yet, many religious zealots will vote against their economic self interests because of issues like abortion and gay marriage.

Anyway, Fiore's animations are a must-watch this political season - visit his Website to sign up for free e-mail updates about new videos as they are released.

Mark Fiore releases another funny video

[Click the image to go to the video]

**Warning: Might not be appropriate for work - turn your speakers down.**

I know I just posted about a Mark Fiore video yesterday, but waiting in my in-box this morning was an e-mail about another Fiore video - this one describing Barney the White House dog's tell-all tome, Sh-- Happened. It really was a funny way to begin my day - click the link above to go right to the video. Trust me, this one is worth it.

Enjoy, and when you get a minute, let Mark know he's doing great work.

Mark Fiore's Pretty Good Generation

[Click image to go to video]

Mark Fiore has done it again - another great video poking a stick in the eyes of people like Sen. John McCain and President Bush, who are opposed to Sen. Jim Webb's G.I. Bill that would give our troops a much needed and deserved education when they get back home. I'll have more on the topic in a minute, but in the meantime, click the image above to go to Mark's site to watch a pretty good video - it's only about three minutes long.

Actually, Fiore has been doing this for quite some time, and his work is the best I've seen on the Web, so bookmark his site when you get there - it's worth it. You can also sign up for e-mail updates to get notification when a new video is released. Support him any way you can - he's doing great work and raising a host of issues through parody. You can even leave him a voice mail, and he publishes them to his Website, which is über-cool.

Pickling the Poor, by Mark Fiore

Mark Fiore, a brilliant political commentator, has been putting out some great stuff for quite some time. His latest animation, which commemorates Hurricane Katrina, is one of his best yet. (Click on either screen capture to go to his Website, where Pickling the Poor, his Katrina animation, will automatically begin.)

For those of you who have not followed the saga of New Orleans since Katrina literally blew away a once-great American city, the topics Fiore covers in this piece are true, from formaldehyde-laced trailers to the planned rebuilding of New Orleans to drive out the poor, it's all been in the news. However, with the many other disasters the Bush administration is tending to, it tends to be relegated to the back pages of the paper, not the front of them.

Heckuva job, Fiore, heckuva job.

Fiore's latest: a great global warming vid

I love Mark Fiore's work - he's done some great animation on the Bush Administration, and the more hapless Bush and his cabal become, the better and better Fiore's work is. Wow, a benefit to having Bush in office! And I thought it was going to be a bad week in politics. I just cheered myself up, and you can, too, by watching one of Fiore's vids.

His latest video on global warming, is a must see. Check out his Website, and you can even sign up to get an e-mail when he releases a new video. He has some great stuff on his site about Bush, Walter Reed and the War in Iraq.

Keep up the good work, Mark.

A new Mark Fiore animated cartoon on W

Mark Fiore is one talented, thought-provoking journalist. He has some good stuff out, including a new animated video called Gone Fishin'. (Click the link to watch it.)

The vid above, about the fifth anniversary of 9-11, is the only good one I could find of his work on YouTube.

One other video he's made that I really loved is called Ouchie, a video about returning soldiers from Afghanistan and Iraq.

Anyway, poke around his Website Here to check out his stuff.
