The Larry Craig bobble foot has arrived!
This has to be THE funniest promotion I've ever seen for a baseball team. Minnesota's St. Paul Saints, a minor league baseball team, is giving away a bobble foot collectible to commemorate Sen. Larry Craig's restroom incident at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport last summer, where he tapped the foot of an undercover officer in the next stall. Evidently, in the sanitary conditions of the St. Paul airport, if you tap the foot of someone in the next stall, you're lookin' for some action.Anyway, on Sunday, the Saints are handing out a Larry Craig bobble foot collectible to the first 2,500 fans at their game against the Fort Worth Cats. Hilarious!
I checked the team's Website, and so far, they aren't offering the bobble foot for sale, but I can only hope that later on they will, because I have to have one. It's probably no coincidence that the team coming out with the funniest promotional give away ever is partly owned by comedian Bill Murray.
Anyway, if I hear of the team selling the bobble foot collectible, I'll let you know.
