The Larry Craig bobble foot has arrived!

This has to be THE funniest promotion I've ever seen for a baseball team. Minnesota's St. Paul Saints, a minor league baseball team, is giving away a bobble foot collectible to commemorate Sen. Larry Craig's restroom incident at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport last summer, where he tapped the foot of an undercover officer in the next stall. Evidently, in the sanitary conditions of the St. Paul airport, if you tap the foot of someone in the next stall, you're lookin' for some action.

Anyway, on Sunday, the Saints are handing out a Larry Craig bobble foot collectible to the first 2,500 fans at their game against the Fort Worth Cats. Hilarious!

I checked the team's Website, and so far, they aren't offering the bobble foot for sale, but I can only hope that later on they will, because I have to have one. It's probably no coincidence that the team coming out with the funniest promotional give away ever is partly owned by comedian Bill Murray.

Anyway, if I hear of the team selling the bobble foot collectible, I'll let you know.

A good Larry Craig video

Okay, one more before I get on to some serious stuff. I got another good laugh this morning out of this parody video about Republican Idaho Sen. Larry Craig. Not much I can add here - just watch it, laugh, repeat.

Mitt's racking up the coveted endorsements

Boy, GOP Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney sure is on a roll with endorsements. First it was Ann Coulter, moments before she publicly called John Edwards a "fagott," and now it's disgraced Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) extolling his virtues.

No word yet on who Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Mark Foley are endorsing.

Pathetic coverage on GOP sicko

I don't know what's more pathetic - Sen. Larry Craig's (R-ID) press conference yesterday, which he denied wrong doing for lewd conduct in a men's room at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport AFTER pleading guilty a lesser charge, or the coverage that has surrounded the predictable media circus. Take a look at a California CBS affiliate's coverage of the sad spectacle...

Funny, in a way, but also pathetic. It's no wonder no one under 50 watches local news anymore. They have absolutely nothing to ad to any discourse whatsoever. This looks like something that would be performed at a college television station.

More on Sen. Craig later.
